Welcome to the MI Security Training Blog. Here it is my desire to discuss issues related to training, security, executive protection and private investigations.
Having been a US Marine for 23 years, and having taught armed security personnel on a 1000 + officer federal contract along with working in the industry, I beleive ones training should not stop once employement starts. Training should be on-going and diverse. Just because you are a security officer assigned to a lobby post should not mean you do not take an EP class if you wish. You may not to work as part of an Executive Protection team, but the skill and knowledge you learn may be benificial to both you and the client you work for.
